A basic idea in the Montessori education philosophy is that to develop the physical, intellectual, and spiritual potential to the fullest; the child must have freedom, which is achieved through self-discipline, order, and clearly defined limits. We rely on Dr. Montessori’s insight that the only valid impulse to learning is the child's self-motivation.

Montessori children are given the trust and respect to make their own choices and judgments; they receive space to explore their interests at their comfortable pace. This leads to children who have great self-awareness, high self-esteem, and a love of learning and challenges. Montessori children grow into confident, capable adults who love to think “outside the box.” Children can do amazing things at a younger age than most people consider. We nurture children’s “inner teachers” and allow them to discover their wonderful abilities.
